INTRODUCTION:
The District Information & Public Relations Office serves as a link between people and the District Administration. This Office not only informs the public on the Plans, Policies and Programmes of the Government, but also works to ensure People's Participation in the Successful Implementation of different Developmental Programmes and Schemes. To implement these Programmes and to make them People-oriented Sub-Divisional offices also function at Balliguda and G.Udayagiri.
DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED TO ACHIEVE THE MISSION:
During the tour, the DIPRO and SDIPROs conduct Group Talks, Sell Utkal Prasang & Orissa Review, Orissa Reference Annual and other Priced Publication of the I & PR Department and collect Success Stories.
At Headquarters they release the Press Notes, News Items, attend the Review Meetings of the District Administration & other Offices to make News, Success Stories, etc.
