STATUS OF AROGYA (MHU - MOBILE HEALTH UNITS)
Mobile Health Units through department and also through PPP mode have been launched in the district. The MHUs are instrumental in making the health services reach at the remotest places of the district. Each MHU is manned with an AYUSH doctor, Pharmacist, HW(F) and a vehicle. The MHUs are strengthened to provide quality health services. The vehicle engaged for MHUs are branded as per the prototype. Each MHU prepares a plan for 22 days of field visit in a month. Fixed Camp sites have been identified and Social Mobilisers have been engaged to mobilize cases to the camp site.

As per the Aim and objective the Mobile Health Units are functioning properly and tribal patients are getting the Health care in remote areas.
“AROGYA PLUS” – (MHU - RUN THROUGH PPP)
Ten nos. of Mobile Health Unit operationalised through NGOs in 4 blocks of the district, viz. 6 nos. at Daringbadi block, 2 nos. at Kotagarh block, 1 at Tumudibandha block & 1 at Raikia block. The District NGO Committee has finalized NGOs to implement the programme as per the above mentioned block. This project has already been launched on 1st October 2009 in the above mentioned 4 Blocks.
