Lift Irrigation Division located at Phulbani is in charge of community Lift Irrigation Projects of Kandhamal & Boudh District. The Division office is located at Phulbani and besides that there are Lift Irrigation Sub-divisions at Phulbani and Baliguda for execution of new Lift Irrigation Projects as well providing support to the Pani Panchayats for operation and maintenance of the existing projects in the Kandhamal district.
There are 344 nos. of L.I.Projects in Kandhamal district having a designed ayacut of 6996 Hectares in Khariff and 4128 Hectares in
Rabi.
